Focus on strengthening the main muscle groups in the body, such as the abdominal muscles, leg muscles, arm muscles and chest and back muscles. This can be accomplished by using resistance in order to build up the muscle tissue. Certain exercises will strengthen the muscles while also giving the body a cardiovascular workout. These exercises include, but are not limited to, running, cycling, and stair stepping. Try to exercise at least 30 minutes per day.


Dietary Alterations


The typical American diet usually includes foods that are high in fat, salt, sugars and artificial ingredients. These foods will not only contribute to poor health but cause the body to consume excess calories and fat. Replace packaged or processed foods, or foods that contain high amounts of fat, salt or sugar, with whole,natural foods. Eat a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, lean cuts of meat, and whole grains, like oats. These natural foods contain high levels of vitamins and minerals, and low levels of fat, salt and sugar.


Water Increase


Water is a vital part of existence, and without it your body's systems will not function properly. Certain systems, such as the endocrine system, control metabolism and how well the body burns off calories, so if your body becomes dehydrated, the speed of your metabolism will decrease. This can make it difficult to lose weight easily. To make sure that the endocrine system is functioning at its best, make sure to drink at least 64 ounces of water every day.
