Indoor Water Parks In Tennessee

Indoor waterparks offer tourists fun in Tennesse any day of the year.

Many tourists come to Tennessee to see the beautiful Smoky Mountains but the state also has three fun-filled water parks for visitors to enjoy. Water parks are usually considered a part of summer vacation, but indoor water parks are a modern way to enjoy the warm summer weather any time of the year.

Wild Bear Falls All-Season Indoor Water Park

The Wild Bear Falls water park, located inside the Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort, is open seven days a week. The mountain-themed water park offers eight attractions for visitors, such as the 350-foot-long tube slide, a 300-foot-long enclosed body slide and 2 relaxing hot tubs. Families can enjoy a game of basketball in the activity pool or have some fun at Ramsey Cascades, a tree house that features a 300-gallon bucket that tips over and pours water over everyone in the tree house; along with 2 slides for adults and kids. The park also offers an arcade, gift shop and a snack bar.

Wild WaterDome Indoor Waterpark

The Wild WaterDome features nine attractions and play areas for adults and children, as well as a see-through glass roof. The adventures at Wild Waterdome include the Smokies Surf Rider where a person can combine surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding in a five-foot ocean-like wave. Lessons for this attraction are available to guests. Another feature of the park is the Storm Chaser which takes guests down a dark 55-foot-long tunnel and then sends them through a funnel before finally landing in the pool below. For a calmer activity, the Great Wave provides a chance to enjoy the waves in a 10,000 square feet wave pool. Wild WaterDome also offers a raft ride and a multi-level play area which the whole family can enjoy together. A water play area with slides also provides a teeter totter for the younger kids. The park is open 365 days a year and the foil-tech glass roof allows visitors to get a a suntan in any season.
