When staying at a hotel or resort with an indoor water park, you'll be rewarded with entertainment and convenience. Your family won't have to stray far from your overnight accommodations to find hours of entertainment. Plus, your hotel rates often include admission to the water park. Missouri has indoor water parks sprinkled throughout the state.
Branson
Branson, a tourism hot spot in southwest Missouri, is home to two indoor water park resorts: Splash Country at Grand Country Square and Castle Rock Resort & Waterpark.
Splash Country is part of the Grand Country entertainment complex, which includes a hotel, music hall, stores, miniature golf course and restaurants. The water park features a tree house play area, a lazy river for peaceful floating, two tube slides, a pool with basketball hoops, a toddler play zone and two hot tubs. During the summer, the water park's outdoor pools and play areas open for expanded play options.
Castle Rock visitors can stay in the on-site hotel that offers suites in the same building as the water park, so visitors don't have to venture outside during frigid weather. Some rooms include a private alcove with bunk beds for children. The water park includes attractions similar to those found at Splash Country.

Kansas City
The CoCo Key Water Resort in Kansas City stakes its claim as Missouri's largest indoor water park. This tropical-themed water park was built as part of a major renovation to the on-site Holiday Inn. The dip-in theater allows guests to watch a film while playing in the water. Visitors can also enjoy the Coral Reef Cavern activity pool, ride down a variety of water slides or relax in the indoor/outdoor whirlpool. Private and group cabanas are also available for rent.

Osage Beach
Osage Beach, near the Lake of the Ozarks, attracts visitors from across the state due to its central location. Nestled in the lakeside hills, Tan-Tar-A Resort boasts many family activities, such as boating, swimming and golfing. Timber Falls indoor water park is a new addition to Tan-Tar-A's attractions. Families can enjoy floating the lazy river, playing in the activity pool or relaxing in the huge whirlpool tub. Unlike Missouri's other indoor water park resorts, admission to Timber Falls is not included in the hotel rates, and the water park has a limited schedule during fall and winter.
