Weight Loss & The Neck

Neck fat can be annoying. It is usually more common when you get older due to gravity and fat that has been stored over the years. It can be hard to lose neck fat because neck shrugs and stretches don't really help by themselves. To lose neck fat, you must lose weight all over your body to do it.


Genetics


Everyone loses weight differently. Some people lose their weight everywhere before losing neck fat while other may lose neck fat before they lose weight everywhere else. No matter what genes you were given, you can lose neck fat and weight all over the body by eating healthy and exercising.


Stretches


Neck stretches will assist in losing neck fat. Your neck is like other body parts, therefore, if you were to work out your neck, your neck will grow and become much stronger. The stronger your neck muscles are, the bigger they will be. When your neck muscles are big, they will push on the skin of your neck to help get rid of neck fat and the appearance of double chins. To get strong neck muscles you have to do the correct neck stretches. Stand with your legs shoulder width apart. Keeping your head straight, lean it towards your right shoulder and then to your left shoulder. Do 10 repetitions. Do not do any circular motions.
