Indoor water parks are often a hit with old and young alike. People can enjoy the benefits of playing in the water regardless of the weather outside. Although there is a huge outdoor water park resort, as of 2010 there are no indoor water park resorts in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. However, many major hotels offer indoor water parks.

The Buccaneer Bay Indoor Water Park, located inside the Ramada Hotel and Suites, hosts a 30,000-square-foot indoor park. Kids of all ages can slide down the two-story, 160-foot waterslide and play pirates on the 35-foot pirate ship. If the adults don't' feel like playing with the kids, they can swim in the lap pool, relax in one of the two hot tubs or hang out at the full-service poolside Tiki bar.

Ramkota Indoor Water Park
The Best Western Ramkota hosts a small indoor water park for guests of the hotel. Each room rental receives six complimentary passes to the park. It has a 140-foot winding waterslide, water canyons and a whirlpool. Meet fellow guests and play basketball while in the pool. In addition, the park has a small pool aimed towards preschoolers with lily pads that the little ones can climb across.

Holiday Inn Express Indoor Water Park
The hotel is located about five miles outside of Sioux Falls, in Brandon. The indoor water park allows visitors that are not guests of the hotel and offers the facilities for birthday parties. The park has a 210-foot raft waterslide that circles inside and outside of the building several times. People of all ages tend to enjoy the 160-gallon dump bucket and whirlpool. The park also has a large spa to relax in.
